“ I just had a terrific and very professional experience with Jennifer Tyrkala in the catering department. She was top notch in her communication and offered very helpful suggestions for our office lunch catering experience. Pricing was also terrific! I highly recommend Jennifer and Foodstuffs! ”
“ Fabulous employees!!! Great Desserts, Great sandwiches, great soups, great seafood!!! Everything is soooo good! But it is not cheap. It is the Northshore and if you have a regular person job, it does not open until 10 and closes at 5 so it’s tough to get in there unless you’re a SAHM, Nanny, student, or work from from home. Worth the trip from any suburb around though! They are open on Saturdays. ”
“ Great gourmet food store, lots of cheese varieties, baked goods, cooked hot foods, fish, shrimp, caviar, wines and more. The back area has a great made to order deli sandwich counter and made to order salads area. There's seating in front inside at tables and window counters. ”
“ The BEST seafood on the North Shore. Twenty years of fresh fish told me so. The pastries are also outstanding and very hard to pass up. Don't go near there if you are trying to lose weight. I don't buy prepared dishes or sandwiches often enough to judge. The staff is TERRIFIC! ”
“ I LOVE this place. It is expensive, but high quality. I recently discovered a small pound cake and heard that they make different ones each week. I am not usually in the area, but found myself there again today and picked up a Banana Butterscotch Carmel Cake - absolutely delicious. They have great soups, salads, mini-burgers and so much more. Limited seating inside, a few tables outside in nice weather, but best for carryout. ”
“ The food here is amazing. So fresh, and soo good. My favorites are too many to name all, but I love the salmon cakes, and the banana chocolate chip bread, the tuna and the Irish mac n cheese. It’s a not cheap, but the food taste fresh and clean and made with quality ingredients. Oh yea....mom’s carrot cake is to die for. Everyone who works there is friendly, helpful and kind. ”
“ Foodstuffs is quite fabulous! From their soups to sandwiches to prepared foods, you can’t go wrong with everything fresh and delicious. And be sure to get their Courtney’s tuna salad - the best!!! The Glencoe location is a bustling place and they have a wider variety than the Evanston location (which I also highly recommend). And did I mention the desserts?! Lots of scrumptious options! Along with the wonderful food, the customer service is excellent! Well deserved 5 stars! ***** ”
“ We love their soups! That with some good sliced roast beef on their buttercrust white bread, c'est magnifique! This makes a perfect Sunday night supper for us. ”
